28th German Conference of Women in Physics – Registration Now Open!

From September 28 to 30, 2026, the 28th German Conference of Women in Physics will take place at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau. The conference is open to all researchers, students, and physics enthusiasts from academia and industry.

The scientific program covers a wide range of physics topics, including solid-state physics, spin physics, photonics, quantum technologies, biophysics, and cosmology. In addition, the conference features career events, soft skill workshops, and networking opportunities with representatives from academia and industry.

While participation in the conference is open to everyone, abstract submissions are reserved for women and persons who identify as female. In addition, some workshops and program elements are specifically designed for women and persons who identify as female, in line with the conference’s mission.

The conference fee includes coffee breaks, lunch, and the conference dinner. Early bird registration is available until June 1, 2026.

Participants are encouraged to book accommodation early. Information on student travel grants will be available on the conference website.
